Role Overview
The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth delivery of engineering projects from start to finish. This is a hands-on position that blends project coordination, administration, and customer engagement. You will be responsible for managing job sheets, documentation, stakeholder communication, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Project Coordination & Administration
* Raise, manage, and track job sheets for engineers.
* Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
* Prepare and submit risk assessments and method statements for approval.
* Monitor project progress, timelines, and costs.
* Customer & Stakeholder Communication
* Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
* Liaise with engineers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure alignment.
* Ensure customer requirements are clearly understood and met.
* Drive "right first time" delivery through clear communication and planning.
* Programme & Cost Management
* Develop and manage project programmes and schedules.
* Track and report on project budgets and expenditures.
* Identify and mitigate risks to project delivery and profitability.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in project management, ideally within engineering or technical services.
* Strong administrative and organisational skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
* Familiarity with health & safety documentation (RAMS).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £35,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
