The role
Liquid Personnel is recruiting a social worker for its client’s Children and families Team at Renfrewshire.
To provide a high-quality social work service to children, young people and their families, ensuring the safety, wellbeing and development of children in accordance with relevant legislation, national guidance, and local policies. The post holder will assess needs, manage risk, and work in partnership with families and other agencies to safeguard children and promote positive outcomes
Key Responsibilities
Assessment and Case Management
Undertake comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.Manage a caseload of children and families requiring support, protection, or care planning.Develop and implement child-centred care plans and review them regularly.Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and reports.Child Protection and Safeguarding
Investigate concerns relating to child welfare and protection.Participate in child protection case conferences and core group meetings.Take appropriate action to safeguard children at risk of harm in line with Scottish child protection procedures.Work within relevant legislation including the Children (Scotland) Act 1995 and the Children and Young People (Scotland) Act 2014.Qualifications & Experience: To be successful in this role you must have:
