The Regulatory Compliance Officer works with the Regulatory Compliance management team, performing research, reporting, auditing, and additional duties that support Compliance throughout the business. Job responsibilities include a focus on the following areas:
What You'll Do
* Research, monitor, and analyse regulations for changes that may impact the business or Compliance functions.
* Supervise legislative changes in Australia and ensure the Australian business is aware in advance of changes and of the impact on procedures and work instructions
* Support Employee Compliance Education Programs
* Research New Markets as requested by the business
* Assist with regulatory reporting required by regulators and by executive team.
* Provide Regulatory assistance to the business as needed
* Assist with the creation and distribution of compliance bulletins
* Assist in Compliance with the development and implementation of major projects that will create an efficient and effective work environment.
* Ensure a compliance culture is embedded across the organization through ongoing engagement with collaborators and the use of tools and communications.
* Support the delivery of the gaming compliance framework across the global organization.
What We're Looking For
* 2 years experience in compliance, gaming or a related function preferred.
* Experience with MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
* Strong communication (verbal and written) and collaborator engagement skills.
* Possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
* Strong research abilities with a focus on continuous improvement.
* Knowledge of gaming regulations, technical standards and internal controls is preferred.
* Must be a self-starter who can work independently.
* Must be organized and thorough.
