🔍 The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Precision Assembly Technician to join Nami Surgical’s highly skilled team.
This is a hands‑on role working at micron‑level tolerances, assembling intricate CNC‑machined components and helping shape the next generation of surgical instruments.

🛠 What You’ll Be Doing
* Assembling precision CNC‑machined components into advanced surgical instruments
* Working closely with R&D and Engineering to build prototypes and support design iterations
* Fine‑tuning mechanical designs through hands‑on assembly feedback
* Performing ultra‑precise alignment of small, intricate parts
* Applying epoxies/adhesives and carrying out fine soldering as required
* Following detailed SOPs, technical drawings and work instructions
* Taking full ownership for the quality and accuracy of your work
* Conducting in‑process inspections and maintaining build documentation
* Experience in precision mechanical or micro‑mechanical assembly
* Confidence working with delicate, high‑precision components
* Strong ability to follow SOPs and detailed build instructions
* High personal accountability for quality and accuracy
* Experience in medical devices, surgical instruments, aerospace, optics, electronics or similar
* Familiarity with ISO 13485 or regulated manufacturing environments
Qualifications
* Apprenticeship or technical qualification in Mechanical/Precision/Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent hands‑on experience
* Work on technology that will transform robotic‑assisted surgery
* Be part of a well‑funded, ambitious Scottish medical device start‑up
* Collaborate closely with a highly technical and experienced team
* Play a hands‑on role in building next‑generation surgical tools
* Join a culture that values precision, innovation and craftsmanship
