HR Systems User Experience Analyst

Role Overview
We’re supporting a well-known employer in sourcing an HR Systems User Experience Analyst to help shape and enhance the colleague-facing experience within their HR systems, with a strong focus on Workday.
In this content-led and user-centric role, you’ll lead the creation, review, and governance of all colleague-facing materials; ranging from system help text to knowledge articles and key communications. You’ll collaborate with HR, IT, Legal, and Internal Comms teams to ensure the HR self-service experience is intuitive, clear, and compliant across a diverse European workforce.
This position sits at the intersection of HR systems, change, and digital communications, and will be integral to a large-scale transformation project early in your tenure. Your input will directly shape how colleagues engage with digital HR processes, policies, and guidance.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the creation and ongoing management of clear, helpful, and compliant system content (e.g. help text, user guides, system messages)
* Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify friction points and simplify the colleague experience
* Ensure content aligns with HR policies, European employment regulations, and accessibility best practices
* Translate complex HR processes into easy-to-understand digital guidance
* Apply user personas, feedback, and data insights to improve the end-to-end HR system journey
* Support internal HR change programmes with well-structured and user-focused communications
* Act as a key contributor to system rollout and transformation initiatives, ensuring clarity and usability are prioritised
* Advocate for intuitive system design and inclusive communication throughout the colleague journey
Key Requirements
* Strong ability to create clear, engaging, and helpful content for digital HR systems, especially Workday
* Experience translating complex policies or workflows into simple, user-friendly language
* Understanding of HR practices, European employment law, and digital self-service models
* Proficiency working with cross-functional teams, particularly in HR, IT, Legal, and Communications
* Strong communication and copywriting skills, with high attention to detail
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Experience using data insights and feedback to improve user experience
* Familiarity with user journey mapping, personas, or UX principles is a plus
* A proactive, collaborative approach and a genuine focus on quality and continuous improvement
