Vacancy Location: HMP Full Sutton, East Riding of Yorkshire
This is a permanent position, 37.5 hours per week, closing in 15 days at 23:59 BST.
Your role
We are seeking a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to join an integrated mental health team at HMP Full Sutton.
The team collaborates with Tees, Esk and Wear Valley NHS Foundation Trust (TEWV) and Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust to provide a stepped care mental health service within the prison.
The team consists of highly skilled professionals working together to deliver excellent care for inmates with mental health needs. The working hours are from 0800 to 1600, Monday to Friday.
You will be part of an integrated team delivering Step 1 interventions, supporting mental health through informal support, signposting, group activities, peer mentor training, and engagement activities. Your role includes supporting individuals during incarceration and planning for their release into the community.
