This role will be working in the Cyber Response Services (CRS) Team within our Risk Consulting practice, reporting directly to the head of cyber response. Cyber security is a key area for growth at KPMG, with clients facing increasing threats. You will join a high-performing team working with a variety of clients, being one of just 9 tier 1 responders in the UK, gaining extensive experience and opportunities for security certifications.
What will you be doing?
* Manage and coordinate cyber security incidents for clients, including being available for on-call duties.
* Conduct digital forensics on incident data (disk, memory, network packets, logs).
* Maintain awareness of the cyber threat landscape and advise clients accordingly.
* Liaise with clients on delivery, implementation, and project issues.
* Prepare responses to bids and RFPs.
What will you need to do it?
* Broad understanding of the cyber threat landscape.
* Strong technical background in computers, networks, and programming.
* Proven experience in handling cyber security incidents and response measures.
* Knowledge of information security methodologies, principles, and technologies.
* Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Skills we’d love to see / Extras:
* Current government security clearance (SC/DV) or willingness to obtain one.
* Incident management certifications such as CREST CCIM or GIAC GCIH.
* Degree level qualification, MSc in Information Security, IT, or relevant STEM field.
