Role Overview
* Role: Care Assistant – Nights
* The Home: Abbeyfield Woodlands is a 31 bed Independent Living Service with Extra Care. Surrounded by picturesque woodland areas and only a short drive from the town centre.
* Location: Abbeyfield Woodlands, Woodlands Drive, North Yorkshire, Skipton, BD23 1QU
* Hours: 36 hours per week, 7:30pm – 7:30am.
* Pay: £12.96 p/h
Responsibilities
* Front line care delivery.
* Help residents with their individual care needs, such as personal care, medical care and following social interests.
* Build a special bond with each resident, and give professional and emotional support during difficult times, such as periods of illness.
* Assist residents with washing, dressing, eating, drinking and getting around.
* Respect residents’ choices, dignity and independence.
* Integral to developing residents Care Plans, which includes being aware of any specialist support needs.
