Creative Lead
Salary: £55,000 per annum, plus company benefits. Locations: Leeds, LS10 1AB or London, E14 5JJ. Contract: Full Time, Permanent, 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 9am – 5:30pm (flexibility required, 1-hour unpaid break). Work model: Hybrid.
Role Overview
The Creative Team Lead will be a dynamic, hands‑on integrated designer based in the Leeds Onshore Delivery Centre, supporting a leading global law firm in London. Reporting to the Global Creative Director, the role involves implementing the firm’s recent rebrand, developing templates, and managing the rollout of consistent, high‑quality branded materials across print and digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide integrated creative solutions and campaigns that bring to life the content and brand design.
* Liaise with the client professionally and proactively manage expectations.
* Support the business to manage and deliver client work on time with accuracy.
* Interpret and challenge brief requirements, offering the best solutions for clients.
* Escalate or resolve client issues and communicate updates to the Global Creative Director.
* Deliver outstanding printed and digital marketing collateral in compliance with brand guidelines.
* Think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts while working with the Global Creative Director.
* Produce templates and ensure design consistency across the brand rollout.
* Apply animation and moving‑image design principles where required.
* Use workflow software and adapt to existing team procedures.
* Provide technical input and advice on print and digital projects; produce final files for print and write print specs.
* Create infographics and ensure quality checking and accuracy.
* Lead and develop the team through 1‑2‑1’s, meetings, development and performance reviews.
* Up‑skill the team to focus on digital solutions.
* Ensure workload and staffing (absences, holidays) are managed correctly.
Essential Core Skills
* Formal design training or relevant qualification in graphic design.
* Ability to develop compelling concepts within corporate design guidelines.
* Strong editorial design experience with long‑form documents and reporting layouts.
* Advanced typography, layout systems, composition and information hierarchy expertise.
* Experience writing brand guidelines for consistency across print and digital.
* Confidence to present and explain ideas to clients and colleagues.
* Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously.
* Understanding of client needs and expectations.
* Innovative problem‑solving initiative implementation.
* Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
* Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Dreamweaver).
* Experience in storyboarding, animation and motion graphics preferred.
* Video editing using Adobe suite preferred.
* Knowledge of SharePoint and MS Office.
Technical Requirements
* Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite for print, digital and moving‑image design.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to produce final print files and write print specifications.
