Together, were building a better future.About the Role/teamWere looking for a skilled and adaptable Multiskilled Carpentry Repairs Technician to join our Property Services team. This mobile role covers our housing portfolio across Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Oxfordshire and surrounding counties.Youll carry out day-to-day repairs and maintenance to a high standard, with expertise in at least three trades, carpentry and plumbing being the primary focus. Youll work independently, ensuring first-time fixes wherever possible, and maintain excellent customer care throughout.Youll be based out of our Head Office in Wooburn Green for toolbox talks and briefings, and our Chesham depot for equipment, property packs and keys.Key Responsibilities:Complete maintenance tasks across multiple tradesEnsure all work meets regulatory and safety standardsCommunicate effectively with tenants and colleaguesMaintain van stock and use materials responsiblyManage documentation and update job records accuratelySupport apprentices or junior staff when requiredParticipate in the out-of-hours on-call rotaWhat Were Looking ForMust haves:Relevant qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ) or equivalent experienceStrong skills in carpentry and plumbing, plus additional trade experienceGood understanding of building regulations and health & safety requirementsExcellent communication and time management skillsFull valid driving licenceCommitment to delivering outstanding service to residentsNice to haves:Experience supporting apprentices or junior staffFamiliarity with mobile working and digital job trackingFor added brilliance:Confidence working independently across a mobile patchPassion for maintaining homes to the highest standardsExperience working in social housing/local authority.
