We’re looking for a Pay and Benefits Manager to join our team and play a key role in delivering exceptional service to both colleagues and customers. Key Responsibilities
* Drive high standards in customer care by keeping people informed, explaining changes, and offering reassurance throughout the process.
* Use your payroll expertise to deliver accurate and timely results, including Tax and NI calculations and managing overpayments.
* Apply a structured approach to problem-solving, assessing issues, and finding effective solutions.
* Identify opportunities to improve business performance, efficiency, and quality.
* Understand the wider commercial impact of your actions, referring opportunities to colleagues or other departments when appropriate.
* Collect and maintain information relevant to the role while looking for ways to streamline systems and processes.
* Actively share ideas, supporting a culture of improvement and collaboration.
What we’re looking for
* Previous experience in a payroll environment.
* Strong knowledge of Tax & NI calculations within payroll systems.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* A structured, detail-oriented approach with the ability to empathise with customers and reassure them with confidence.
* Evidence of right to work in the UK.
* (Desirable) Payroll qualification.
