Job Description: CCTV Controller
The CCTV Controller is accountable to the Security Supervisor for supporting, managing, and delivering security within the shopping centre environment. The role ensures high standards of security and customer service are maintained for clients and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage all control room procedures in line with CCTV codes of practice.
2. Support and guide site-based staff.
3. Supervise Security Officers to ensure adherence to procedures.
4. Liaise with authorities and security supervisors regarding incidents and information sharing.
5. Monitor CCTV, fire panels, intruder panels, and related equipment.
6. Oversee site radio systems.
7. Monitor human behavior, suspect individuals, log, and report incidents per policies.
8. Prioritize incidents, inform key personnel, and follow escalation procedures.
9. Maintain records, incident reports, and safety documentation.
10. Ensure GDPR compliance.
11. Manage access to service yards and management offices.
12. Maintain a safe, non-threatening environment for all.
13. Provide feedback to management, implement improvements.
14. Advise the Security Supervisor on security matters.
15. Uphold team standards and welfare.
16. Assist with security audits and compliance.
17. Build relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners.
18. Interact professionally with visitors and tenants, delivering excellent customer service.
19. Maintain personal grooming and uniform standards.
20. Handle emergencies effectively, keeping the team informed.
21. Assist contractors and visitors, ensuring policy adherence.
22. Respond promptly to security issues.
23. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience
* Experience in corporate or retail security (desirable).
* Customer service experience (desirable).
* Strong organizational skills.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* High grooming standards and professional appearance.
* Outgoing, friendly, with a positive attitude.
* Basic computer skills, including MS Office.
