We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Grounds Maintenance Operatives focused on sports facilities. The ideal candidates will have a passion for sports turf management, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive attitude towards maintaining high-quality playing surfaces. We have a variety of different roles from Apprentices wanting to learn everything through to experienced grounds maintenance professionals wanting to further their careers, full training and support will be provided to all candidates.

Are you a team player with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving? If so, you could be the perfect fit for these roles. Key duties for the roles include:
* Mowing and maintaining sports pitches to professional standards
* Line marking and pitch preparation for various sports activities
* Renovation and repair of sports turf surfaces, including scarification and aeration
* Weed and pest control on sports fields
* Maintenance of sports equipment and facilities, such as goalposts and nets
* Assisting with the setup and breakdown of sports events and tournaments
* General grounds maintenance tasks as required, including litter picking and hedge trimming.
You will have previous sports turf experience, hold a level 3 horticultural or sports qualification with PA1, PA2 and PA6 qualifications being desirable.
Sports Operative Level 2 – Up to £12.00 per hour
You will hold a level 2 horticulture or sports qualification or relevant experience.
You will have a passion and commitment to learn all there is to know about sports turf management while gaining experience on the job.
