Teaching Personnel is working with several welcoming schools in Hartlepool seeking multiple SEND Teaching Assistants for the new academic year. Location: Hartlepool Start Date: September Position: SEND Teaching Assistant (Multiple Vacancies) Pay: £90-£100 a day About the Role: • Provide tailored classroom support for pupils with SEND across all primary age ranges • Work one-to-one or with small groups to support learning, communication, and development • Assist teachers in delivering inclusive and differentiated lessons • Help manage behaviour and create a supportive, positive learning environment • Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic needs Requirements: • Experience working with children with SEND in a school or educational setting • A genuine passion for supporting SEND learners • Ability to work collaboratively and take initiative • Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills • Relevant SEND qualifications or training desirable but not essential These are full-time roles with potential for long-term or permanent placements for the right candidates.
