What you will be doing
As a Purchasing Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the purchasing function by managing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring smooth communication between departments. Your role will involve processing orders, maintaining ERP system data, and assisting with import paperwork, all to ensure our supply chain operates seamlessly and efficiently.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include progressing orders both daily and forward, managing customs clearance documentation for imports, raising containers within the ERP system, supporting the processing of pro-forma invoices and order confirmations, updating ERP with shipping information, and maintaining accurate delivery and shipping records. You will liaise with teams across production, sales, and purchasing to ensure deadlines are met and compliance is maintained. Flexibility is essential, as you may be asked to undertake additional duties aligned with business needs.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages
