Due to sustained continuous growth, Dowhigh Ltd are now looking to appoint a Full Time Traffic Management Operative to compliment and grow our existing Traffic Management team.
Ideally the successful applicant will have Traffic Management experience, however, in line with our commitment to employee development, full training will be provided for the successful applicant. Based at our Head Office in Netherton, Liverpool, the role will be mobile around the North-West of England.
Established in 1975, Dowhigh Ltd is a successful Civil Engineering Company working with long standing clients from the Public and Private sector. With over sixty employees, the company is undergoing rapid growth following recent success with additional Local Authority contracts.
Duties will include (but not limited to):
· Installation of temporary signage, temporary traffic control and other Traffic Management equipment as required within agreed timescales.
· Directing and marshalling live traffic as per Traffic Management programme
· Ensure safety of the public, colleagues, yourself, and any other parties is always put first.
· Assist with site set up, Traffic Management prep, clearance.
· Ensure Traffic Management method statements and risk assessments are adhered to & conducted in line with current legislation.
· Manage any changes as necessary due to environmental impact e.g., adverse weather conditions and communicate changes effectively to site supervisors.
· Work closely with colleagues, sub-contractors, clients, and members of the public.
Qualifications & Experience
· Traffic Management Qualifications M1/M2, ideal but not essential.
· Full driving licence required.
· Ability to work on your own or as part of a team.
· Ability to work outside in all weather conditions for prolonged periods of time.
· Strong organisational & communication skills.
· Flexibility on hours subject to business requirements.
· GCSE Level 4 (minimum) English Language & Maths.
