Role Description
Dental Receptionist at Grantham Dental, Abbey House, NG31 6SE. Working 38.75 hours per week, 5 days per week including one Saturday on a rota basis. Located in an old corner building over two stories with four surgeries, computerised using Dentally software, and a longstanding team with a on‑site therapist and specialist services such as implants and Invisalign.
Responsibilities
* Provide a warm, professional welcome to patients and visitors.
* Manage appointment bookings and maintain accurate patient records.
* Process payments and handle administrative tasks with precision.
* Coordinate with dentists, nurses, and practice managers to keep the practice running smoothly.
* Promote and upsell dental services and products to support patient care.
* Be a key part of creating a positive, friendly atmosphere in the practice.
Qualifications & Skills
* Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role is desirable.
* Confident communicator with a professional, approachable manner.
* Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure in a busy environment.
* Attention to detail and good IT skills for handling bookings and records.
* Team player who thrives on helping others.
