Responsibilities
* Routine processing of HIVE reports on system
* Responsible for timely processing of patient pathways ensuring 2/52 pathway is met where appropriate.
* Arranging urgent / admission / outcome appointments
* Dealing with patients over the telephone and escalate clinical issues.

Person Specification
Education and Qualifications
* General education to GCSE standard
* RSA/NVQ Level III or equivalent
* Evidence of further development
* ECDL
* AMSPAR Diploma
Experience
* Medical secretarial experience in a healthcare setting
* Proven experience of working to deadlines
* Problem solving abilities
* Experience of working a multi disciplinary team
* Experience in managing junior admin team
* HR experience
Knowledge
* Knowledge of a full range of secretarial procedures
* Good understand of the Governments Modernisation of Healthcare plans
* Good understanding of Trust policies and procedures
* In-depth knowledge of medical secretarial processes and medical terminology
* Confidentiality
* Health and Safety
* Understanding of wider IT agenda within NHS
