We are looking for ambitious individuals to join Talbots as Directors across all department for our Coventry Office, with a strong commercial acumen and extensive experience within legal sector.
As a Director, you will be in a vital leadership role, ensuring the efficient, compliant and profitable operation of a local team and that Company standards of expertise and client care are promoted and maintained.

What the job involves;
* Profitable and efficient management of the local team, responsible for escalating any issues outside of own remit to the senior stakeholders.
* Actively involved in the educational development of the team, including monitoring and supervising staff, identifying training needs, analysis, induction, structured training plans and competency based assessments.
* Advise on a wide range of general complex technical issues for any lawyer as well as overseeing a caseload.
* Proactively involved in business development activities and to build connections locally with other professionals.
* Maintain and develop excellent working relationships with a wide range of clients and introducers, understanding and monitoring key KPIs and Service Level Agreements;
* Ensure compliance with SRA, Lexcel, Law Society Quality Scheme standards, SARs and accounting requirements.
What you need:
* To have at least 5 years qualified experience within a people management position, competent in managing a high volume of work and both staff and client expectations objectively and diplomatically;
* High level of attention to detail, excellent planning and organisation skills, confident with working to deadlines;
* Passionate about giving outstanding client care to clients and referrers with strong interpersonal skills, sensitivity, tact and diplomacy.
