You will work closely with teachers and therapists to provide tailored support both in and outside the classroom, helping pupils to develop confidence, independence, and positive behaviours. Your role is central to creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment where every pupil can thrive. Key Responsibilities Support pupils’ learning and engagement in line with their individual needs Encourage and motivate pupils to reach their personal goals Help pupils develop social, emotional, and behavioural skills Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and families Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and positive school environment Person Specification Essential: GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English – Grade C / 4 or above Genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs Calm, compassionate, and proactive approach Strong team player with excellent communication skills Desirable: Experience working in a school or SEN setting Knowledge of autism, SEMH, or trauma-informed practice Willingness to learn and develop professionally If you are compassionate, dedicated, and motivated to support children with additional needs, join Reddish Hall School and help every pupil reach their full potential.
