Permanent Senior Veterinary Surgeon - Hereford

We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Hereford for a Permanent Senior Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This role is part time for 2 or 3 days per week with shifts between 8am and 7pm, along with 1 in 5 weekends. There will be 2 or 3 extra Saturday mornings per year. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

The role
11. The role involves managing own cases, clinical work, leading Vet meetings, developing the team and working as the line manager within the vet team.
12. The position is a 12 month fixed term contract covering a maternity leave.

14. The Vet will be responsible for providing a high standard of veterinary care and customer service.
15. The Vet will be responsible to ensuring that there is excellent communication between themselves and the team and with clients.

35. The Vet will require a full UK driving license as there is branch work required.

37. Salary: Up to £63, pro rata, commensurate to experience
38. Holidays: 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing with service and birthday off
