INTRODUCTION:
We are looking for a Multimedia Producer to join our team in Leeds.We want someone organised who loves producing content, is keen to roll up their sleeves and loves to get involved in the creative process. You would be part of the Media62 team working closely with presenters and producers on our Sports Broadcast Media and Yorkshire Podcast Studio brands, working to produce podcasts, live video, radio and social media.
THE ROLE:
This is a Full-time equivalent (FTE) job, on a rolling contract with the intention of a long-term engagement, based at our studios just off Junction 27 of the M62. It’s a hybrid role, although you’ll need to be in the studios for recordings, client meetings, etc. and it may also require some off-site recording work.
This will mostly be a daytime weekday role, although some weekend and evening work may also be needed.
Skills required:
* A detailed understanding of audio and video production techniques including the ability to operate the studio and editing software. Predominantly Adobe products, vMix, OBS and Final Cut.
* Knowing your way round a video camera, ideally Blackmagic products.
* Having some experience in video production, live and pre-recorded content.
* Understanding audiences and recognising great content.
* Keeping a well maintained archive of all broadcast / podcast material for future use.
* A good understanding of content styles required for different Social Media channels (YouTube, TikTok, X, etc.)
* Creating social media content for us and our clients.
* Initiating and/or attending regular meetings, to both review Media 62’s content production and conduct brainstorming and planning for forthcoming activity.
* Assisting in developing material for podcasts & live shows, including generating and producing creative content and statistical analysis in-line with our clients brands.
* Live Vision Mixer Experience.
* Working alongside the senior team to develop content offerings and facility operations.
* Managing client experiences at the studios.
* Adaptability and the willingness to work flexible hours.
* Being a nice person (this is very important).
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:
* Live within commuting distance of our studios (Near IKEA Leeds)
* Have initiative and motivation to learn on the job.
* Be able to work under pressure to edit and create content in quick time.
* Be comfortable working in and around the iGaming (gambling) industry.
* Be great with people, as you'll be working with on-air talent.
* Have the ability to edit audio. It doesn’t matter which software; we’re after someone with a good ear.
* Be experienced with video editing software. The type of software isn’t as important as knowing what a good edit looks like.
* Have broadcast playout system knowledge.
* Be passionate about all of our content, from sport to timber products (we have diverse clients!)
* Hold a full, clean driving licence
* Have an understanding of motion graphics and animation
* Understand how to implement AI.
THE MOST IMPORTANT BIT:

SALARY AND CONTRACT:
Salary: £24,000 – £27,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications.
This role is offered on a rolling one-month contract. However, this is not intended as a temporary position. If the fit is right, we would transition the successful candidate into a full-time, permanent contract.
This position would be suitable for a job-sharing or similar arrangement, if desired.
