Scheme Manager Non Residential – Home Group
Location: Wokingham, Berkshire
Contract: Permanent, part time (22 hpw)
Salary: £24,638 pa [pro rata] with great benefits including Health Cash Plan
Join our leasehold retirement team. If you want to help people live independently and enjoy retirement, this role helps ensure the smooth running of our retirement community by managing our buildings and supporting residents to live independently in their own homes.
Responsibilities
* Managing the scheme on behalf of residents, ensuring buildings are safe, secure and meet required safety standards.
* Providing visibility on the scheme, engaging with customers, responding to calls and maintaining a warm, safe and welcoming environment.
* Ensuring communal areas are clean, safe and welcoming; enabling social activities in communal spaces.
* Working with partner contractors for repairs and maintenance in communal areas; assisting with sourcing suitable local suppliers.
* Signposting residents to relevant services to support their welfare and improve their lives.
* Supporting the sales team when a new property becomes available, interviewing potential customers and giving a welcoming introduction as new residents move in.
What you bring
* A passion for delivering excellent customer service and building relationships with people from diverse backgrounds.
* Knowledge of health and social issues affecting older people.
* Some experience in safeguarding and carrying out risk assessments.
* Ability to work collaboratively with different partners.
* Strong administrative skills, including managing accounts, budgets and invoicing for repairs to buildings, communal areas and gardens.
* Self-starter with the ability to work largely independently; organized, with initiative and good decision-making.

Job details
* 22.5 hours per week with some flexibility; discuss during interview.
* Primarily Monday to Friday.
* Must be able to use technology for updating records, online learning and collaboration.
* Enhanced DBS check required and paid for by us.
