The School/role:
We are looking for a full time Learning Support Assistant based around Erdington to start with us in September for this full time, long-term, temp to perm role!. The school is a community special school with students with cognition and learning difficulties in addition to physical disabilities and complex health needs.
Key Duties:
1. Constant Supervision: Provide vigilant supervision to ensure the safety of the child and others, particularly in managing disruptive behaviour.
2. Building Trusting Relationships: Foster a trusting relationship with the student to create a supportive learning environment.
3. Sensory Room Assistance: Facilitate the student’s engagement in the sensory room to enhance their learning experience.
4. Outdoor Activities: Organize and facilitate opportunities for the student to run around outside each day, promoting physical activity and well-being.
