Export Road Freight Administrator Location: Basildon, SS14 ⏰ Hours: Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:30 (Fully office based) Our client, a leading European transport company, is seeking an Export Road Freight Administrator to join their dynamic team in Basildon. About the Role: As Export Road Freight Administrator, you will play a key role in coordinating and managing European export shipments, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and excellent customer service. You will work closely with the operations and warehouse teams to plan loads, process documentation, and support the smooth running of the export department. Export Road Freight Administrator duties include: Planning trailer loads for efficiency and profitability Preparing and processing export documentation Liaising with the warehouse on loading and space management Handling general export enquiries and bookings Managing collections, overseas deliveries, and customs paperwork Maintaining accurate records and invoicing for the export department Key Requirements: ✅ 2 years' experience in a similar position within the Freight/Logistics industry is essential - specifically in road freight ✅ Minimum 1 year of office experience ✅ Basic familiarity with customs is considered beneficial. ✅ Strong telephone manner and customer service skills ✅ GCSE Maths & English (Grade 4/5 or above) ✅ Confidence in communicating with non-native English speakers ✅ Exceptional attention to detail - accuracy is essential Minimum 2 years in a similar role within the Logistics/Freight industry is required.
