An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Cellular Pathology Office at Hull Royal Infirmary.
The Cellular Pathology department analyses tissue samples and provides diagnostic reports to the clinical teams to ensure appropriate patient care.
We are based in a purpose-built, spacious facility with UKAS accreditation against ISO 15189 (2022) standards.
Please note: The interview will take place on 9th September 2025.
You will be responsible for managing a team of secretarial and administrative staff, ensuring the smooth daily operation of this busy office, and liaising with the wider clinical teams.
Your duties will include acting as a panel member for recruitment, conducting appraisals, and managing disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence, and performance issues.
You will also oversee office workflow and workload to maintain service continuity, interact with colleagues, and provide administrative support such as meeting minutes and communication with teams, especially liaising with MDT coordinators and handling ad-hoc duties as required.
