We work on a range of exciting projects for many different clients across all sectors. The roles of the Workplace Engineer operate within the User Experience capability, focusing on consulting, architecture designing, building, migrating, and testing workplace services and solutions.

Are you passionate about helping organizations transform their work culture and productivity with Microsoft Cloud solutions? Do you have the skills and experience to design and implement modern workplace solutions that meet the needs and goals of complex enterprises? If so, we are looking for you.

Hybrid working

The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your role

As a Workplace Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design, planning, and delivery of modern workplace solutions for our enterprise customers. You will work closely with business stakeholders, IT leaders, and technical teams to understand the customer's vision, challenges, and requirements, and to propose innovative and scalable solutions that leverage Microsoft 365, Azure, and AI capabilities. You will also oversee the implementation and adoption of the solutions, ensuring that they align with the customer's business objectives, security policies, and compliance standards. The role will require you to:

* Engage with enterprise customers to assess their current and desired state of modern workplace maturity, and to identify opportunities and gaps for improvement. Define and document the modern workplace strategy, roadmap, and architecture for the customer, based on best practices and industry standards.
* Design and architect modern workplace solutions that leverage Microsoft 365, W365, and Azure with features and services, such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange, Intune, Entra ID, Azure Sentinel, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
* Provide technical leadership and guidance to the project team and the customer throughout the solution lifecycle, from pre-sales to deployment and adoption.
* Manage and mitigate technical risks and issues, and ensure that the solutions meet the customer's expectations, requirements, and SLAs. Collaborate with Microsoft and partner resources to ensure the quality and success of the solutions and conduct workshops, training sessions, and presentations to educate and empower the customer and the end users on the benefits and usage of the modern workplace solutions.
* Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the modern workplace domain, and share insights and feedback with the Microsoft and partner communities.

You can bring your whole self to work. At Capgemini building an inclusive future is part of everyday life and will be part of your working reality. We have built a representative and welcoming environment, for everyone.

Your skills and experience

* Experienced in IT consulting, solution architecture, and project management, with a focus on modern workplace and cloud solutions along with knowledge and experience in designing and implementing Microsoft 365, Azure and AVD solutions for enterprise customers.
* Deep knowledge and expertise in Microsoft 365, and Azure features, services, and architectures, and how they can be integrated and customized to meet the customer's needs and goals.
* Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts and solutions to various audiences, from executives to end users. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle multiple and competing priorities and deliver results under pressure.
* Strong customer focus and relationship management skills, with the ability to understand the customer's business context, challenges, and expectations, and to build trust and rapport.
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience (desirable), Certifications in Microsoft 365 and Azure are highly desirable.
