Overview
We're currently seeking a proactive and organised Transport Planning Administrator to support our fast-paced transport planning team. This is a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations by managing communications, coordinating bookings, and maintaining system accuracy.
What you'll be doing
* Monitoring the transport inbox, prioritising and actioning emails effectively.
* Creating and inputting jobs into our planning system with precision.
* Booking and confirming collections and deliveries across internal and external contacts.
* Acting as a key liaison for customer queries, providing timely updates.
* Keeping all transport systems up-to-date and compliant.
* Collaborating with planners and drivers to ensure efficient execution of plans.
* Assisting with reporting as needed.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in transport, logistics, or admin support (desirable).
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment.
* Confident using Microsoft Office - especially Outlook and Excel.
* Familiarity with TMS systems is a plus.
