Associate Practitioner / Cardiographer

We are looking for an associate practitioner to join our Cardiac department who would like to expand their existing knowledge and clinical experience to lead our Cardiographer/ Assistant practitioner team.
Main duties of the job
This role will involve working alongside the team of cardiographers, Associate Practitioners and Cardiac Physiologists to ensure patients receive a timely service.
You will troubleshoot issues with the supervision of the clinical lead. You will work closely with senior staff to develop the service so it meets the current needs of patients and colleagues. We work closely with the clinic staff to reduce delays and help provide a seamless service for all. You will perform standard and high position 12 lead ECG. Fit Holters and OnTrak BP monitors. You will analyse holters and be the 2nd person in ETT. You will work in Transplant including ECG and CPEX and participate in the loop recorder and monitoring service. You will maintain a clean and well stocked environment. You will carry out stock checks and update senior staff on stock needing to be ordered.

As part of the clinical Group – Heart Lung and Critical Care we work with colleagues at the Brompton and GSST sites to provide a cardiology services that spans the entire spectrum of cardiac disease from foetal and congenital, through structural and imaging to heart failure and transplant. We are one of the foremost education providers for cardiac science with programmes from level 2 (Apprentice) to doctoral (HSST)

* Demonstrate ability to communicate at all levels in a multi professional environment
* Able to interpret ECG
