As a Business Systems Analyst you’ll perform analysis, identify areas for improvement and design techniques to solve complex business solutions for our Wealth business. You’ll work alongside client‑side business analysts, system analysts, solution architects, developers, and test analysts, acting as a liaison between business and technical teams.
What You Will Get To Do
* Deliver Business Systems Analysis output to high‑quality deliverables that increase business value and align with the strategic product direction.
* Assess, validate and improve requirement quality against analysis standards and best practices.
* Work across the full project lifecycle on a complex, multi‑year programme.
* Analyze and validate business solutions and translate them into technology requirements to increase the business value and ensure successful programme delivery.
* Develop functional design documentation and user stories, including acceptance criteria.
* Understand IT systems, databases and infrastructure, including complex system architectures involving the integration of multiple systems.
* Apply solution analysis techniques such as Use Cases, UML modelling diagrams, UI design, domain modelling, logical data modelling and business rules modelling.
* Use process modelling, including BPMN.
* Facilitate workshops and demonstrate solutions.
* Trace requirements and manage changes.
* Use JIRA and Confluence for requirement management.
What You Will Bring
* Domain knowledge in UK wealth management processes (portfolio management, client onboarding, reporting, regulatory requirements).
* Experience with platform/wrap account products that enable investors to hold assets across multiple managers.
* Knowledge of defined contribution and defined benefit plan fund management.
* Understanding of annuity and pension products.
* Experience with personal wealth investments such as unit trusts and managed funds.
Professional Experience
* 5+ years of formal technical analysis experience, typically working with project teams of more than 10 people.
* Experience working with internationally distributed teams.
* Experience in an Agile delivery environment.
