This role is Site Manager / Security Supervisor for a Public Sector Commercial site and therefore experience of high security site management, counter terrorism knowledge, Martin's law knowledge, experience of working with the police and emergency services for both planned and reactive partnership work is highly advantageous. Your role will be to manage the officers and the day to day operations of the team and their requirements, marrying this with a high end security provision, you will be responsible for ensuring adequate staffing is maintained overall, implementing training across the team working with the team to assist with the smooth running of the contract. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Direct Management of: Security Officers. Prestigious Single Site Portfolio. Responsibility for a high security site with overall responsibility for a team of officers. Effective rostering of site personnel. To ensure effective communication between all key individuals. Safeguarding of company assets to include people, buildings and information. Implementation of security policies. Undertake ad-hoc projects as directed by the Client. To lead, manage and motivate direct reports including: goal setting, performance reviews, appraisals, coaching and development planning, and monitor attendance / timekeeping. Attainment of Companys Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and assist with investigation of apparent non-conformance. To monitor all staff and contractor activities on the site including the control of contractors, recording of method statements and risk assessments. To perform ad hoc duties as required. Liaising with Police and other external stakeholders for security matters. Managing and controlling Sensitive Information. Promoting and driving a good security culture throughout the organisation and ensuring required security protocols are adhered to by all. ESSENTIAL QUALITIES: Previous Security Management / Supervisory experience. A frontline Security Industry Authority (SIA) Licence is required for the role Evidence of motivating and managing teams. Strong leadership skills to lead from the front and inspire.
