DSEAR Site Supervisor[1137983] role at WGM Engineering Ltd
We are currently looking to recruit a DSEAR Site Supervisor to join our E&M division on a full-time permanent basis. The purpose of the Site Supervisor role is to supervise field-based staff to ensure DSEAR Compliance projects are progressed in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner. The role is central to ensure that customer requirements are fully satisfied and to continually develop and improve project communication and performance.
Responsibilities
* Contribute and support to the effective management of DSEAR Compliance projects, project deliverables and actions, including early planning for commissioning, handover, and final acceptance.
* Ensure and support effective quality assurance and overall integrity of project delivery process.
* Effective management and planning input to the overall programme interfaces with other projects and contribute with the co-ordination of third-party stakeholders, as required.
* Managing Health & Safety process and ensuring these are adhered to across the site.
* Manage the daily operations on site and ensure project timescales are met within a safe and accurate fashion.
* Reporting daily/weekly to the Delivery Manager and Project Manager on key aspects of progress issues and concerns at WGM and client level.
* Ensuring all projects are commenced and completed to the quality standards and expectations of WGM and our clients.
* Identify and allocate the skilled resource requirements necessary to deliver the overall programme for construction and commissioning.
* Oversee and manage any construction and commissioning risks initiating corrective action where necessary.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position you will have at least 2-3 years previous experience within a similar supervisory based role ideally within an engineering or similar industry background. You will have previous experience of DSEAR or Compex regulations which is essential for the position. Previous knowledge of the water or water waste industry would be beneficial within the role. Driving to various sites across the country is essential within the role so a full UK driving license is essential.
