Business Development Manager, Value Added Services

The Value Added Services (VAS) team is seeking a data-driven, results-oriented business leader to expand the services charter for Indian customers.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Designing engagement strategies with multiple teams on VAS services.
2. Leading brand/seller/service partner-facing components to design, plan, and implement mechanisms that enable customers to utilize multiple services across their product journey.
3. Negotiating and closing agreements with brands, sellers, and service partners to drive service adoption.
4. Owning the P&L for respective service businesses.
5. Developing service partners/accounts to achieve YoY growth and improved profitability, potentially managing a team of account managers.
6. Providing insights to reduce business waste and enhance profitability.
7. Establishing and managing business review mechanisms with relevant stakeholders.
8. Influencing product roadmaps to meet the needs of partners by collaborating with product management and technical teams.
9. Collaborating with category leaders to leverage services across categories.

About the team:

The VAS team's mission is to build trust in Amazon India through a portfolio of services associated with various products purchased on Amazon. The team interacts with multiple internal and external stakeholders to offer product-attached services to customers.

Business Development Managers are expected to own initiatives that enhance revenue, reduce wastage, and lower costs, by engaging with internal and external partners.

Minimum qualifications:

* 4+ years of experience in business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business.
* Bachelor's degree.
* Experience in establishing and managing a sales pipeline.
* Ability to interpret data and make strategic business recommendations.
* Proven experience influencing stakeholders internally and externally.
* Leadership experience in managing teams.
