Offer description

Due to staff retirement we are looking for two new members of staff to work 25 hours per week x 2 who are:

Multi-skilled and confident working in a fast-paced environment

Resillient, flexible, and able to adapt to changing demands

Experienced in SytmOne and other associated medical software (preferred)

A true team player with a can-do attitude and strong attention to detail

Highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals

Main duties of the job

Front desk reception duties including greetingpatients and answering calls.

Booking appointments and managing patient queries.

Handling administrative tasks and supportingclinical and other staff.

Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Job responsibilities

Job responsibilities:

To provide high-quality front-of-house and administrative support topatients, visitors, and the clinical team at Aspley Medical Centre. The PrimaryCare Navigator is a key part of the practice team, ensuring patients arewelcomed and supported efficiently, with empathy and professionalism at alltimes.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Greetpatients and visitors politely and professionally

Answertelephone calls, manage queries and transfer calls as necessary

Book,amend and cancel appointments via SystmOne

Deal withrequests for urgent appointments and signpost appropriately

Handleface-to-face, telephone and online queries in a calm and efficient manner

Ensureall messages and communications are accurately recorded and passed on tothe appropriate staff

AdministrationDuties

Manageincoming and outgoing correspondence, including scanning and filing

Assistwith prescription requests, referrals, and online communications

Processtasks and messages via AccuRx, Communication Annex and Emails

Updatepatient records accurately in line with GDPR and confidentiality policies

Maintainthe reception and waiting room area in a tidy and welcoming condition

Systemsand Software

Confidentlyuse SystmOne, AccuRx and Emails

Carry outregular checks on appointment books, clinics, and tasks

Supportclinical and management staff in the smooth operation of daily workflow

Teamworkand Flexibility

Bewilling to work flexibly to cover sickness or annual leave when required

Attendregular team meetings and training sessions

Maintaingood working relationships with colleagues and clinical staff

Respectthe roles of others and work collaboratively

Experience

Qualifications

* Qualifications
* Good General Education
* Read, write and Speak alternative languages
* Experience
* Previous experience working in an administrative role.
* Have excellent communicational skills
* Able to work in a busy environment
* Experience in working in a GP practice or other Healthcare Environment
