Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Registered Manager located in Southampton. The Registered Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care services. Tasks include managing staff, developing care plans, adhering to legal and regulatory requirements, and maintaining communication with families and external agencies. The manager will also be responsible for budgeting, reporting, and fostering a positive environment for both staff and residents. We are looking for an experienced leader who can operate with strong communication skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Qualifications
* Experience in managing staff and developing care plans
* Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements in the care sector
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with families and external agencies
* Financial management skills including budgeting and reporting
* Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively
* Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care or related field
* Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, autism, or mental health conditions is a plus
* A commitment to delivering high-quality care and continuous improvement
