Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse with minimum of 2 yrs experience post qualification to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality services. This position requires strong communication skills, organisational abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for patients.
Responsibilities
* Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
* Prepare and sterilise instruments and equipment before and after procedures.
* Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment scheduling.
* Communicate effectively with patients, providing them with information regarding treatments and care instructions.
* Support the dental team in administrative tasks, including managing inventory and ordering supplies, audits etc
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the practice.
* Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
* Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certification or equivalent experience.
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate patient care.
* Proficiency in IT systems related to dental practice management is desirable.
* A proactive attitude towards learning and adapting to new technologies within the dental field.
