Learning Support Assistant - Immediate Start - Southeast LondonFull-Time and Long-Term Roles Available
Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting passionate and experienced Learning Support Assistants to work across a range of fantastic mainstream secondary schools in Bexley and the wider Southeast London area. These roles are to start immediately and are full-time and long-term, running through to the end of the academic year, with the potential for ongoing work.
Whether you're looking for a long-term position or the flexibility of day-to-day supply, we have opportunities to suit your schedule. As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting students with SEND, helping them to thrive in a mainstream classroom setting.
Requirements:
* Experience working with children or young people (essential)
* Experience supporting students with SEND (desired/required)
* A valid DBS on the Update Service
* A proactive, reliable, and compassionate approach
Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support
* Assist teachers in delivering inclusive and accessible lessons
* Support pupils with SEND in and outside the classroom
* Work closely with school staff and parents to ensure student progress
