Our team of EMC-focused Technicians or Engineers provides comprehensive EMC testing services for new and innovative technology and devices across various industries. The Technician or Engineer will be responsible for setting up and completing EMC test projects and delivering accurate results to customers.

Initial training will be provided on a Monday-Friday, 37-hour week, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, before transitioning to shift work. The successful candidate will rotate between two shifts every two weeks:
1. Shift 1: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (1-hour lunch); Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm (1-hour lunch)
2. Shift 2: Monday to Thursday, 4:00 pm - 12:30 am (1-hour break); Friday, 4:00 pm - 12:00 am (1-hour break)
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Collaborate with customers, Engineers, and Project Managers to conduct EMC testing in screened enclosure and in-situ environments.
* Support customers before and during testing, especially communicating issues during failure phases.
* Maintain data and electronic logbooks.
* Create test procedures, including photos and measurement uncertainty calculations.
* Develop test plans and generate test reports.
* Contribute to the development and evaluation of test equipment and methods.
* Assist in validating client requirements, which may involve site visits.
* Support the sales team by providing technical information for quotes.
* Specialize in specific testing areas such as rail, marine, or radio EMC requirements.
* Provide training to engineers in specialized areas.
Qualifications/Qualifikationen
Essential criteria:
* Experience as an EMC Test Engineer in a test house environment, with knowledge of the EMC Directive and relevant standards.
* Experience using test equipment like spectrum/network analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, or RF power meters.
* Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and develop skills.
* Willingness to work overtime and shifts as required.
Highly desirable criteria:
* Good IT skills, especially with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and test systems.
Desirable criteria:
* Engineering experience in electronics-related roles.
* Customer-facing confidence.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
