Quality Team Leader | Salary of £31,535 + £1,100 shift allowance (if applicable) | Rotational shift | Chichester
We’re looking for an experienced Quality Team Leader to join our team at our Drayton site in Chichester. In this role, you’ll be the driving force behind food safety, legal compliance, and product quality standards, ensuring our products are the very best in fresh food manufacturing.
You’ll work closely with colleagues, customers, and suppliers at all levels to deliver safe, high-quality products every time. With a focus on leadership, problem-solving, and continuous improvement, you’ll have the freedom to make your mark and help shape our reputation as the best at fresh.
Shift Pattern
We operate a rotational shift pattern covering 7am to 7pm covering days and 7pm - 7am covering nights. You will work a total of 14 days over a 28-day period. Typically, you would be working as follows:
DAYS:
Week 1 - Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday
Week 2 - Wednesday & Thursday
NIGHTS:
Week 3 - Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday
Week 4 - Wednesday & Thursday

7. Developing and coaching a high performing team with full appraisal and reviewing responsibility.
8. Ensure technical food safety, quality standards and customer COP’s are implemented and adhered to in the factory
9. Non-conformance management and investigation, including Root Cause Analysis
10. EPW/Trace exercises and investigation
11. Providing and developing KPI and performance reporting
12. Support and preparation for Customer audits
13. Maintains Factory technical and quality standards / KPIs
14. Completion of internal audits and QA systems
15. Validation and verification of new and current processes
16. Management and reporting of site DQA
17. Customer Complaint Investigation
18. Create reports and analysis of data to report internally and to customers
19. Lead teams and initiatives to deliver performance improvement
20. Control, management and calibration of Equipment
Qualifications
Requirements
21. QA or similar experience working within the food industry, ideally experience in short shelf-life products
22. Food safety Level 3
23. HACCP
24. Basic understanding of Microbiology
25. Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and Food Safety compliance
26. Working knowledge of Auditing techniques
27. Computer literate, good oral and written communication skill
