Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join MonLife’s Heritage team to lead the delivery phase of the Shire Hall Museum project. This exciting project will implement plans and proposals to integrate Monmouth Museum’s collections, including the nationally significant Admiral Lord Nelson collection, into the historic Shire Hall to create an enhanced and sustainable museum offer with new galleries, learning and community spaces, engaging and welcoming wider audiences.
Delivery and responsibilities
You will oversee the implementation of designs and plans created during the development phase of the project, managing the project team to achieve the Curatorial and Engagement outputs required as part of the National Lottery Heritage Fund grant and related grant bids. Working with the project team, external consultants and MonLife colleagues you will lead an inclusive, collaborative and community focused approach to the delivery phase of the project, as outlined in developed interpretative and museum display proposals.
Contract and opportunities
It will give you an exciting and challenging opportunity to further develop your skills based on your existing sound project management knowledge and experience. This is a temporary post for the duration of the Delivery Phase supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
Salary and location
SALARY - IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Salary would be pro rata if not working full time hours or 52 weeks per year. i.e. 37 hours per week / 32.5 per week for School Teachers
Temporary End Date (if applicable): 30/09/2027
Location: Shire Hall, NP25 3DY, United Kingdom. This may change in the future if the service location needs to relocate. Relocation or disturbance expenses will not be paid if this happens.
