Customs Entry / Road Freight Clerk to join their operations team on a 1-year maternity cover contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and organised individual with solid customs and road freight experience to join a busy, supportive logistics environment. The Role You will be responsible for managing customs entries and supporting road freight operations, ensuring shipments are processed accurately and efficiently in line with regulations and company procedures. Key Responsibilities Completing and submitting customs entries (import & export) Liaising with HMRC and relevant authorities where required Handling road freight shipments from start to finish Ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant Communicating with customers, drivers, and overseas agents Monitoring shipments and resolving operational issues Maintaining internal systems and records Key Skills Previous experience in customs entries is essential Experience within road freight operations Strong understanding of UK customs procedures and compliance Excellent attention to detail Organised and able to manage multiple shipments simultaneously Confident communicator with a proactive approach IT competent (experience using freight systems preferred) Whats on Offer 12-month fixed-term contract Monday to Friday working hours (09:00 17:30) Office-based in Egham Hybrid working available once fully trained Supportive team environment If youre an experienced Customs & Road Freight professional looking for your next opportunity in a fast-paced logistics environment, wed love to hear from you.
