A reputable global shipowner is seeking a Marine HR Executive to support seafarer recruitment activities and manpower planning for fleet operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate recruitment of ship staff (officers and crew) through appointed manning offices.
* Screen and process applications to ensure candidates meet company standards, certifications and STCW requirements.
* Arrange and coordinate interviews with fleet management teams.
* Maintain and update crew recruitment records in crewing systems.
* Monitor recruitment progress and maintain a strong pipeline of seafarer talent.
* Prepare manpower forecasts, recruitment reports and KPI updates for management.
* Work closely with manning offices to ensure compliance with company policies and maritime regulations.
* Support cadet recruitment programmes and social media recruitment initiatives.
* Assist Marine HR Managers in improving recruitment processes and manpower planning.
Requirements
* Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies, HR, Business or related discipline.
* 2–3 years of experience in Marine HR, crewing or maritime recruitment.
* Knowledge of STCW, MLC 2006 and maritime certification requirements is preferred.
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel).
* Able to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
