Duties of the Bodyshop Workshop Manager:
13. Overseeing daily workshop operations to ensure jobs are completed on time and to the highest standard
14. Allocating work efficiently to technicians based on skills, current workload, and job priorities
15. Monitoring progress, quality control, and productivity throughout the repair process
16. Ensuring stage repairs are completed before vehicles move through various stages of repair
17. Liaising with parts, customer service, and VDA teams to maintain smooth workflow
18. Checking the quality of repairs at each stage and resolving any issues promptly
19. Promoting a safe, compliant, and well-organised workshop environment
Requirements needed for the Bodyshop Workshop Manager:
20. Proven experience as a Bodyshop Workshop Controller or in a similar role within the accident repair industry
21. Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a team
22. In-depth understanding of bodyshop repair processes and operations
23. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
24. A commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service
