AES (Aircraft Engineering Services Ltd) are inviting applications for a Safety & Compliance Officer to be based at Stansted Airport, working in cooperation with our client airline Ryanair, Europe's largest airline.
The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual with existing line maintenance experience, who can work without direct supervision and able to demonstrate a flexible working attitude in a fast-changing environment. With 600 aircraft for Summer 2024, including the introduction of the Boeing 737-8200 “Gamechanger” and a growing Ryanair UK Fleet of 737-800, Ryanair offer exceptional career opportunities and progression within the industry.
Duties Include:
o To ensure the timely review of Engineering safety reports.
o Investigate Engineering safety reports and Quality audit findings to establish root cause.
o Put in place corrective and preventative actions to prevent reoccurrence of Audit findings and maintenance errors.
o Liaise with Quality engineers during audits to provide assistance and information as required.
o Review and establish Safety Performance Indicators.
o Ensure implementation of corrective actions to ensure continuous improvement across the region
Requirements
o Must have a degree (or similar) in aviation or a minimum of 2 years’ working experience in the aviation industry.
o Previous experience working in a Safety or Quality department is essential.
o Good English (written and spoken) and computer skills (MS Office – Excel essential).
o AMOS knowledge an advantage.
o Good communication and organisation skills, with a high focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
o Must be able to use initiative and work independently.
o A flexible approach to working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
