This Accounts Receivable Clerk position puts you at the centre of a retail manufacturer’s finance team, based at their eco-friendly site. You’ll be the go-to for all things Accounts Receivable, with the flexibility to work from home up to two days a week, or in the office every day if that’s your preference. This role is offered on a 9-month fixed-term contract basis. Reporting to the AR Manager, you will be responsible for: Chasing outstanding invoices by phone and email Managing the full accounts receivable process, ensuring all billing is accurate and reconciled Handling credit control and applying robust control processes Monitoring and managing costs related to accounts receivable Using Excel to track, analyse, and report on accounts receivable activity What you will need: Previous experience in an accounts receivable, sales ledger, or credit control role Strong understanding of AR processes and credit control Confident communicator, comfortable picking up the phone and sending follow-ups Solid Excel skills Experience working with wholesale customers is desirable but not essential What you will get: 33 days holiday per year (including bank holidays) 40% staff discount, both in-store and online Hybrid working – up to 2 days from home, or full-time in the office if you prefer Flexible working hours Free parking on site If you would like to find out more about this role, please apply with your CV or LinkedIn PDF.
