SEN Teacher
Prospero Teaching is working with an independent school in the Salisbury area to recruit a committed and passionate SEN Teacher (QTS) for a September start. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well‑resourced and supportive setting that focuses on providing tailored education for pupils with additional needs.
You will be responsible for delivering lessons adapted to meet the needs of pupils with special educational needs, supporting both their academic progress and social development. The school values teachers who can build strong relationships, provide consistency, and create a structured, engaging learning environment.
This role would suit teachers from a variety of subject or primary backgrounds who are interested in working within a smaller, more personalised setting.
The Role:
Deliver lessons adapted to support pupils with SENPlan and deliver structured, engaging, and differentiated lessonsSupport pupils with emotional regulation, behaviour, and engagementBuild strong and consistent relationships with studentsAssess progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needsWork closely with teaching assistants and support staffCreate a safe, structured, and supportive classroom environmentFollow safeguarding and school policies consistentlyIdeal Candidate:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)Passionate about working within an SEN or specialist settingStrong classroom management and behaviour support skillsFlexible and able to adapt lessons to meet a range of needsPatient, resilient, and supportive teaching styleStrong communication and organisational skillsOpen to working within a collaborative, smaller school environmentContract Details:
