This company has a growing order book and is currently recruiting a Senior Planner with P6 Primavera experience to work across water infrastructure projects as a main contractor,Offering a permanent role, a steady pipeline of work, highly attractive packages, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who is based in Belfast. UK Experience is essential and the role will be based in Belfast.
Your New Role
As Senior Planner, you'll play a key role in supporting the NI region, developing and managing tender and contract programmes to ensure projects are delivered to planned timescales. You'll work closely with project, commercial and operational teams, leading 4D planning, maintaining accurate baseline programmes, monitoring progress, and challenging delays. This role also includes coaching junior planners and ensuring the team is fully aligned on risks, priorities, and critical activities.You may also be required to work on similar water frameworks in the UK when required as part of the wider UK planning team however the role will stay based in Belfast.
What You'll Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role, experience at a similar Senior Planner level will be required and, ideally, you will have working experience of water frameworks, although those candidates with expertise in other areas of heavy civils such as roads, rail, infrastructure will also be considered.
* Strong planning experience across civil and/or M&E projects
* Proficiency in Primavera P6
* Experience working with NEC3/4
* Confident communicator, able to work to tight deadlines.
* Skilled in identifying risks, opportunities, and programme impacts
* Proactive, organised, and capable of managing your own workload
It would be desirable if you had experience in the water industry or came from a site engineering background with experience on NI Water projects, however all forms of civils sector planning will be considered.
