Exciting Opportunity: Engineer (Development and Water Management) Needed in SE England
Are you a talented Engineer with a passion for innovative water management and drainage solutions? My client is seeking an exceptional individual to join their dynamic team as an Engineer (Development and Water Management) for an initial 6 month contract with the possibility of extension. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, delivering designs across highways, property, and development in respect to flood management and drainage.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertake highway drainage design to DMRB standards for ETE project work
Manage LLFA/ S278/S38/S106 projects, including design and checking of designs
Design foul and surface water drainage to Building Regulations and Sewers for Adoption standards
Provide specialist design of small packaged sewage treatment plants and drainage fields/mounds/outfalls
Conduct flood modelling (Pluvial/ Fluvial), if desired
Prepare contracts in SHW (Highways England) and/or NBS formats
Utilise AutoCAD/Civils 3D or Causeway Live/PDS software proficiently
Qualifications and Experience:
RQF Level 4-6 in Civil Engineering or equivalent
Proven track record in drainage design, with experience in the areas mentioned above
Proficient in the use of AutoCAD/Civils 3D or Causeway Live/PDS software
Desirable: Experience in highway design using Manual for Streets/ DMRB
Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK
