Regional Sales Manager - Pumps
Home based (remote, Covering the Midlands)
The company is a leading supplier of pumps and services to the the power generation, chemical, process and utilities sectors across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong technical understanding of pumps and fluid handling systems, combined with a passion for sales and customer service.
The Role:
* Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers across your region.
* Provide technical advice and support to clients, identifying solutions that meet their application needs.
* Follow up on quotes, proposals, and tenders.
* Work closely with the internal sales and engineering teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
* Manage your own diary and territory – this is a home-based role with regular customer site visits.
Experience
* experience within the pump industry or a related technical field (e.g. pumps, valves, compressors, motors, gearboxes etc).
* Strong technical background – mechanical engineering qualifications (or related experience) would be an advantage
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer-facing skills.
* Proven track record of generating sales and new business
* Proactive and hunger to be successful
