Are you an experienced public sector procurement professional looking to make a real impact? We’re partnering with a leading housing association in Kent, to recruit a Procurement Partner who will play a key role in delivering value-for-money services and driving best practice across the organisation.
The Role
As Procurement Partner, you’ll act as the lead for a designated business area, working closely with stakeholders to plan and deliverpliant procurement projects aligned with organisational strategy. You’ll manage end-to-end tender processes, develop robust specifications, and ensure contracts deliver quality, value, and social impact.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead procurement activity for your business area, ensuringpliance with legislation and internal policies.
2. Build strong relationships with stakeholders to plan and execute strategic procurement projects.
3. Manage tender processes, contract administration, and maintain the contracts register.
4. Support supplier negotiations, cost benchmarking, and spend analysis to drive best value.
5. Promote social value initiatives through innovative procurement approaches.
6. Deliver training and workshops to enhance procurement capability across the organisation.
7. Deputise for the Senior Procurement Partner when required.
About You
8. CIPS Level 4 (or working towards) with relevant procurement experience that allows you to make an impact from day 1 and successfully develop and coach less experienced staff.
9. Strong knowledge of contract law, contract management, and public procurement legislation.
10. Proven track record in managing tender processes and supplier negotiations.
11. Excellentmunication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships.
12. Skilled in delivering presentations and training.
Desirable: MCIPS qualification and experience within the housing sector.

This role works on a hybrid basis. You will be expected to be onsite in the offices 1–2 days a week.
Salary range of £46,000 - £57,600
The generous benefits package includes 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
